Fabrizio has over 20 years of experience in managing research projects, technology transfer, start-up and SMEs support initiatives, internationalization processes and management of Science Parks, incubators and innovative clusters. He is general manager of Bioindustry Park Silvano Fumero. Since 2015, he has been a member of the 2i3T Board, incubator of the University of Turin, and since 2014 he is Vicepresident of bioPmed innovation cluster, member of the scientific committee of ITS training institute Life sciences Piemonte. He is also teaching Innovation management and technology transfer at medical school – Piemonte Orientale University since 2012

Luca Capra is an electronic engineer with 18 years’ experience, first as a researcher in ICT field at FIAT Research Centre and afterwards as an expert in the support of SME’s in the start up process, innovation and technology transfer activities, in his current hosting company, the Development Agency of the Autonomous Province of Trento (Trentino Sviluppo). He is deputy manager of the Innovation and New Enterprises Area and project manager of EU activities in H2020, KIC Climate, Interreg Italia-Austria projects.

Graduated in Civil Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Milan, Maria Francesca Silva began her career as a Project Manager and Finance Planner for Euromilano SpA working on projects such as the Polytechnic Milano Bovisa, Cascina Merlata and Expo Village and the redevelopment of the ‘Gasometri’ area in Bovisa. From 2013 to 2015 worked as the Director General of Uniabita, a housing cooperative which works with service companies with assets of 390 million euros, and was the co-founder and president of Quality Living Service which manages over 1,400 public and private residences. In 15 years she has overseen the redevelopment of 3 million sqm of run-down neighborhoods and suburbs with high level socially innovative projects. Presently working as an advisor for real estate companies and international investment funds for the market evaluation of non-performing loans. Current advisor to Confindustria Genoa for the real estate market, in 2017 was a consultant for the Parliamentary Commission of Urban Decay for the city and its suburbs and worked as an advisor for GEAM, a company that develops the environmental and energy policies for the Port of Genoa. From 2015 to 2017 was President of Difesa Servizi SpA, a company that develops real estate assets for the Ministry of Defence, promoting projects for the development of barracks and lighthouses.

Expert in industrial innovation for HIT (Hub Innovazione Trentino) is work is dedicated to support technology transfer in agrifood and biotechnology and and he is in the managing board of FlowMetric Europe, a private company CRO/contract research organization in the pharma and biotech area. Gianluca has a long experience starting in Regione Lombardia (policies for the center of excellences creation), then in Biopolo Milano a tech transfer consultancy company specialized in pharma and biotech and after as managing director of PTP Science Park in Milano, focused in agrifood, Bioeconomy and Health. Gianluca Carenzo is the past President (2015-2018) of APSTI the Italian Association of Science and Technology Parks and member of the steering committee of ASSOBIOTEC (the biotech industry association).

Degree in electronic engineering, master in Business Management at SDA Bocconi, Executive Education at INSEAD – Institut européen d’administration des affaires of Fontainebleau, has gained a decade of experience in IBM, in Italy and abroad, in marketing & sales and IN businesses consulting. As Managing Director he led Edison Energia to be the first operator within the free energy market. After leaving the group he focused on entrepreneurship and strategy consulting. He is Board Member of Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste S.C.p.A. and member of the Board of Directors of APSTI, the National Network of Science and Technology Parks.

President of Galileo Visionary District
Since 2014, Francesca Gambarotto is the president of Galileo Visionary District, the Science and Technology Park of Padua. The agency, with a large pool of competences, provides activities of training (Academy), research and strategic consulting (R&D), startup enterprise (incubator), and social innovation (sustainability and circular economy). The Galileo Visionary District collaborates with large and small companies on the regional and national territory. At present, it is the only Technology Transfer Center for Industry 4.0 recognized by Mise in Veneto. Francesca is professor of Applied Economics at the Department of Economics, University of Padua. Her main research interests are focused on territorial economic development studying entrepreneurial and territorial innovation processes. Previously, she had the position of president for the Veneto Nanotechnology District (Veneto Nanotech) in the bail out phase.
